The Top 2 LHWs are B level fighters

Pascal and Cloud are not elite fighters in my view.

Dawson has all of the physical tools and skills to be the best but maybe not the mentality of a champion to be an elite guy and I think let a fighter he is better than just take his 0 without a fight and him digging down at all to preserve his status.

Right now with Pascal and Cloud as the two guys on top and Shumenov just below them who couldn't be considered more than a C+ level fighter, LHW is looking piss poor to me.

Anyone else see it that way?

Neither Cloud or Pascal looked impressive in their wins in the last two weeks or are very versatile so if these are the best guys I don't see how the division is that good.

pascal is a flawed fighter, but he does possess alot of qualities. mainly his speed of hand and foot but also a toughness and old school mentality that very few fighters have these days. he might not always look good but i think he will be very hard to beat. cloud is a diamond in the rough, he lacks some skills a world class fighter should have but he has all the talent in the word both physicly and mentally. i think he can develop into a great fighter within a few fights. chad dawson is a great fighter already, he just had a off night. by the time these guys are done fighting eachother and one man is left standing, he will have the experience to go with vast talent and should reign the division for years and possibly on top of the p4p list too.

I actually think Cloud is underrated contrary to popular belief on here. It's easy to say otherwise given that his fight with Johnson was so close, but he got the win by fighting Johnson at his own game and that's not easy to do. Pascal on the other hand is an injury prone fighter with weak stamina and Dawson still couldn't beat him.

And its so much easier to appreciate a rugged, blue collar hard working guy like Cloud who you know will not cheat himself (by letting it all hang out) and the fans (by letting it all hang out)....

I expect him to fully decapitate Dawson if they fight.

Which they should, though I see no reason why Dawson is even deserving of a title shot after what he did.

He didn't come up "just short"... he came up way short.

Also, if you lose, why should you get an immediate title shot again? He needs to go back and fight some more guys his own age and see where he is in 2 or 3 fights and EARN his way back to a title shot.

It's been a weak division for ages. But at least the top guys now all bring the excitement and appear willing to face the best opponents available to them.

Could be, maybe he was overlooking him and on to bigger fights.

Either way, he fought terrible last night and showed no will to win or killer instinct.

I hope there is a rematch to show if either he was just having a bad night or doesn't have the intangibles because all of the physical and technical qualities can be there but if that other stuff isn't fighters don't stay at the top for long.
