Dawson may have been busier, but Pascal was more effective.

It is funny to see a 9 rounds to 2 Canadian scorecard and then see those punch stats though.

At the end of the day, the right man won the title.

Of course Dawson was busier and had a better landing percentage but, in the fight, who looked more effective? I'm a big Dawson fan but he should have done more. No worries, i'm pretty sure he'll bring his A game in the rematch. Bad Chad ain't staying like this.
Dawg, are you schizophrenic and love arguing with yourself, or did you **** up and think you logged in as an alias somewhere in this discussion to make it seem like you're actually debating with someone else?

naw man, u cant compare those 2 fights. pascal buzzed dawson more than one time, he was landing thudding blows that were clean. alexander was landing thudding blows to kotelnik's gloves, all the meaningful blows were by kotelnik, he applied pressure and he outlanded the champ, devon was credited with throwin more but he didnt connect with nothing worth noting.

dawson should be blaming nobody but himself, i picked him to win a easy fight cuz he was the superior boxer, he didnt press on when he had chances, thats his problem. i only learned one thing last night, hopkins will beat the breaks off both them dudes, they just gave the 46 year old legend motivation to keep boxing. dawson has no idea what to do when he is being rushed, and pascal has horrible footwork and leaves himself open when he comes in, but chad didnt make him pay.

il bet all my money hopkins will whoop dawson or pascal. bhop is smiling right now

The strange thing is that the statement is actually true, just not in a way where it makes it relevant to the Compubox numbers.
I suppose they must mean power punches, as opposed to overall punches.

bhop has made it clear he isn't interested in fighting Dawson. He's turned him down many times.

I doubt he'll be interested in fighting Pascal either, but we'll see.

If he doesn't fight them he can't whoop them.

In any case, he appears to finally be ageing fast, if the RJJ fight is any indicator; and if he is, then all bets are off, especially against fighters with very good handspeed, which both Dawson and Pascal have.

only fights bhop wants is calzaghe, but thats never happening, and he said on espn friday night fights that he isnt retiring no time soon, so that means he will fight one of these guys bute/cloud/pascal/dawson.. and now he knows chad reacts poorly to pressure, when pascal rushed in, he leaned to his left and was confused, he saw big holes in dawson. and pascal so young, but with horrible footwork and poor stamina. at 46 bhop has more stamina than any fighter in his weight class, damn shame

dawson has a good chance to win in a rematch because pascal ran out of gas and i think dawson has heart and stamina but the ring doctor had to stop the fight cuz dawson was mad bleeding

i need to see a dawson pascal rematch before i can rank the top fighters in the division

I thought of that as well. But then you have their Alexander-Kotelnik report, which completely contradicts that argument. http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=29923
