As the fight gets closer I wonder more and more why now one seems to remember the Chuck Liddell Randy Coture epic. Or feels like it applies to James' up coming bout. Surely James has seen those fights and can adapt accordingly. It isn't difficult to see a striker knocking out coture because it has happened so many times before. I prizefight (mma,boxing,kickboxing) in central FL. I'm not claiming to have had anything close to a randy in the opossing corner, and I don't claim to be a toney either, but side stepping works just as well in wrestling to dodge a shoot as it does in boxing in move the angles. Obviously in mma it does both. Alot of my gym-mates argue that randy isn't a shoot wrestler. Well I don't really see him working angles ever so given that randy charges straight foward you can tell what I mean. I followed Liddel in the idea that if you turn a wrestler he will hand you the knock out, and its worked for me, and i believe it will work for james.

um, i only saw him working on his stand up game. he wasn't wrestling, bjj, etc.

and he's still lookin fat.
