The reason Dawson lost was simple. He had the wrong game plan,only threw his money punch one time. It seems to me team Dawson game plan was to pressure Pascal and look for the KO. This was a very dumb game plan. Also he didn't throw the punch that would have told a different story .
The game plan should have been use the jab and make Pascal pressure him, then set up the uppercut. Pascal was running in with his head down over and over. I was sitting on my couch,LOL going crazy begging him to throw the uppercut. He finally did it in the 10 round and stopped Pascal in his tracks. That punch was there all night.
If he doubled the jab, step back, pivot and shot the uppercut, Pascal would have never heard the ten count. I know alot of you are gonna say I don't know what im talking about but I do this everyday. I'm constantly learning more about this game through training my son. Once again the uppercut was the money punch for Dawson tonight. Maybe next time he'll use it.
