I seen the replay two times, it was accidental. Dawson had his chance in Round 9 and 10, but didnt press the action enough. Even both Steward and Letterman said he could have gone for the TKO if he did more in Round 9.

In Round 11 Dawson finally seem to bring the killer instinct as he landed many combinations in two different ends of the ring ropes. But with 4 minutes left in the fight i think Pascal would have held on and clinched, but it was going to be a close call. Hopefully, we get an immediate rematch as there is a rematch clause, but Pascal can fight another opponent if he exercises that option, he should fight Dawson again before Bute.

Your right, it was accidental & Dawson had him especially after Dawson landed the left upper that stopped Pascal on his tracks & actually made him take steps bachwards, but Dawson did not take advantage of the situation..Dawson & Shaw NEED TO STOP B I T C H I N G!!!!

Dawson is the one that came in on Pascal. What a joke. I thought Dawson didn't want to make any excuses. If Dawson wants it he can KO Pascal in 5 rounds or less. Its his own fault. He sounded like a cry baby in the post fight interview. Very disappointed in him. "I'm not making excuses." If anybody held it was him etc..

Pascal won a unanimous eleven round technical decision over Dawson to unify the WBC/IBO light heavyweight titles. Dawson was behind on the cards, but he had Pascal in all sorts of trouble in the eleventh round. There was a clash of heads that opened up a a very bad cut above Dawson's right eye. I think Shaw is just being a smart promoter and building a background story for the rematch. It sells a lot better if fans think there was controversy involved. In truth though Chad had a bad night I had him winning 5 rounds including the 11th and that might be generous IDK. But what happend to the WBC rule where you take a point from the guy that isn't covered in blood after a headbutt? Wouldn't that have made the eleventh 10-8 to Chad?

no foul play, just an accident, and i agree with the stoppage. of course dawson wanted to go on, he doesnt see his face like we could see it, plus hes full of adrenaline and is a fighter, shaw is sick talkin bout it shouldve gone on, chad could barely open his eye, blood was flowing like niagara falls.

good stoppage, props to pascal but chad couldve ended the fight before the accident, he didnt press enough, thats his fault.

I find it rather funny Canadians are laying claim to a Hatian fighter, pitting he and Dawson against each other in an America vs. Canada fashion, when boths roots trace back to Africa.

Furthermore, Pascal is alright, but he's far from a great fighter. It was just his night, and he took advantage of it.
