    Gary Shaw, the promoter for Chad Dawson, thought the headbutt by Jean Pascal in the eleventh round was intentional. Pascal won a unanimous eleven round technical decision over Dawson to unify the WBC/IBO light heavyweight titles. Dawson was behind on the cards, but he had Pascal in all sorts of trouble in the eleventh round. There was a clash of heads that opened up a a very bad cut above Dawson's right eye. The doctor quickly stopped the fight.

      the headbutt was an obvious accident IMO. but if dawson had more killer instinct the fight would have been over before the butt. why he kept lettin pascal off the hook is beyond me

          it was dawson who went in for the head butt. looked like pascal just stood there. he didnt do SQUAT! Dawson is shook. Hes done. This is what you call THE PASCAL ERA BABY!!!!

              Shaw isnt wondering why he had that 106-103 card for Pascal? Plus im sure being his promoter, he gave him a couple of rounds

              He should talk to Dawson and ask him WTF happened, because when your considered one of the best boxers in the world and you lose 9 of 11 rounds, then there was something SERIOUSLY wrong

                  Didn't really look like it. Dawson came in with his head down and Pascal was coming back up with his head. Looked accidental to me.

                          I agree that the fight should have carried on, but the headbutt was not intentional man. Stop being a rotten egg. Even if the fight carried on, Pascal had around 2 mins to recover and regain his breath.

                                      the pascal era ?? i give him credit but dont act like he wasnt hurt numerous times. his ass was ready to go but chad kept letting him off the hook.
