Adamek and Bute should be somewhere between 6 and 10.

Wlad should be in the top 5.

But some of the writers who vote on the rankings, like Raskin and Detloff, seem to dislike European boxers.

I agree. He should be in the top 15 but not the top ten.

Why? None of the fighters he beat were ranked. A close fight with Cunningham was his best win and he's not ranked, nor should he be. And let's not even bring up Fatiola lol Wlad is the only guy whose beaten unranked fighters and deserves to be on the list.

As for Pascal, I need to see one more fight from him. However unfortunately for him, his next fight will probably be a loss to Dawson. Who knows, maybe we'll see a trilogy. This will actually force Dawson to fight more than once every 5 years!

Cunningham isn't Adamek's only good win.

O'Neil Bell was Ring #2 cruiserweight when Adamek beat him. Chris Arreola was Ring #10 heavyweight. Briggs was in the Ring top ten at light heavyweight before both his fights with Adamek.

Plus moving up three divisions, winning world titles in two divisions including the Ring belt at cruiserweight, and continuing to win at heavyweight against naurally bigger men is very impressive.

They should both be out of the top ten. IMO. Dawson had a good resume for a guy who had the roll he had being in such a dead division. But he hardly ever fights, so therefore he should get highly penalized for losing a fight where P4P rankings are concerned. How can you put Pascal in the top ten but leave Froch, Kessler, and Dirrel out?

No doubt it wasn't his only good win. He had a great run at LHW, which is why B.Hop avoided him for so long. But Cunningham was probably the most impressive. At least in my opinion. And guys like Briggs and Arreola are ranked in their divisions, but they're not elite fighters. The guys on p4p list have been in the ring with multiple elite fighters.

neither of them should be rated in the top 10 p4p list, I think the Ring also overrates Nonito and P-Will..

I'd probably put Wlad in the top 10 or someone like Anselmo Moreno or Ivan Calderon

Nah they put him at #2 because they felt he was one of the best fighters out there and he had only been dethrowned because of his retirement. He didn't get #1 because obviously Manny has taken that spot and has yet to lose since so doesn't deserve to be stripped of it.

Id say 8... I thought that before the fight, if he beat Chad then he would crack the top 10.

Maybe just cracking the 10 spot. Dawson should be removed until he avenges the loss, or beats someone like Cloud or Bute.
