Taunt and chant they did.

Pascal knew he had support, but he also knew those weren’t the numbers that mattered. All that counted were the two fighters in the ring and the points on the judges’ scorecards.

Pascal was the one who would have to take on Dawson and take the rounds in the eyes of the judges. Dawson has the speed and discipline to stick and move. Pascal has a history of inserting himself into momentum-changing brawls. Pascal, then, was the one who would have to take the fight to Dawson.

Pascal parlayed early aggression into late success. A combination of punches that he returned to time and again would eventually hurt Dawson on more than one occasion. The rounds that he took with activity in the first half of the fight added up. They were joined by rounds taken in the second half of the fight, giving Pascal a unanimous technical decision win. By the way, the atmosphere at the arena was amazing. The best for any live fight I've ever been to. If you ever have a chance to see a major fight in Montreal, definitely go.

10k only? dam that arena can hold around 23k . Montreal Canadiens games get sold out 82 games of the season and play offs.

Hullo David...

Still going around my head are pictures of Dawson letting up and stepping back after connecting combinations in a number of sequences.

But the most stark is the one where he landed that uppercut in the 11th, stepped back, saw that Pascal was dazed, rushed in and then...did nothing, allowing precious seconds for the opportunity to slip by. When he decided to do something, their heads collided.

My jaw dropped when I watched all that and as I run the pictures through my head again, I'm not sure I have it (my jaw) back in place.

Dawson was never serious about this fight and it cost him his "0" , he knew he was in hostile territory and needed to win convincincly or get the KO and leave no doubt. What the heck was he doing after he had him hurt , leaning back taking a photo ???? His trainer should have got on his ass early and let him know he was LOSING THE DAMN FIGHT in the 3rd round . He complained aout head butts to HBO , but he never fought his fight taking advantage of reach, height and experience . You can take no-one asa give me fight , ask tyson/douglas !

Just a great night for Pascal-Canada and boxing with Dawson making excuses after the fight after getting his whipping. Very enjoyable when a pug like Dawson gets exposed as average.

Dawson said Pascal was headbutting all night. I didn't see that. I saw Dawson doing a lot of nothing and holding, he was hurt several times too. Did he want to win? Or just look mediocre in defeat? Dawson could have did a lot more

Bad Chad is Sad Chad !

I couldn't wait til a fast young hard hitting fighter got ahold of him. I saw the old and generic rock him and felt he was just hype.

My problem with him is the same with Mayweather. Chad has the skills but just won't engage into a war. He should have knocked out Pascal, but his game plan , by the way he said it , was to throw some punches and stop.

Boxing politics are what makes the HYPE JOBS !! Fighters are gonna have to man up and get in the ring and FIGHT !!!

We need to go back to one Title per division !!

We need to go to tournaments to get this started and end all this MESS !!

A super 6 or 8 needs to be in each division and come up with a winner and then proceed with the KING Of the HILL !

All the commissioning bodys need to merge into ONE or GET OUT !! ONE accord is needed , not Discord !!

Boxing needs and OVERHAUL !!!!!!!!!!
