Dawson's jab was almost non-existent. A stiff, sharp jab would have helped him set up more combos and may have allowed him to KO Pascal sooner in the fight.

Chad needs a lot more work than establishing a good jab, though.

what separates Mayweather from the rest is his adjustments during the match

Mayweather don't just STAY WITH WHAT DON'T WORK, Mayweather WILL FIND A WAY every time, but at the same time you are comparing YOUNG FIGHTERS to a Veteran and one of the most skilled fighters in boxing history, some of the stuff Mayweather does it is just no type of training for some of the stuff he does, like his reflexes, ability to telegraph punches almost like he knows which punch is coming before you throw it

guys like Alexander and Dawson and even Jacobs, they will continue to get better with Experience and more fights under their belts

Here tonight we have a fighter(Dawson) who first and foremost doesn't want to get hit, and some may say doesn't throw that many punches. Then we have another fighter (Pascal) who is the aggressor.

Well Dawson got hit a lot by Pascal and got taken to school.

Using lateral movement(Some of you call it running) and throwing power shots only looks easy, because Mayweather makes it look that easy.
To be fair, if Mayweather was Dawson he would've waited until Pascal was 38 to fight him.

Can't this ****ing guys name not be mentioned for 0.3 seconds in reference to anything???!!!!

How did you think up Mayweather from that?

Because Dawson lost, Mayweather is great.

Riiiiight. I get it. Carry on then.

But unlike Dawson,he has some balls and will.

Not really. The worst that could have possibly happened was him getting knocked down, but then getting back up to dominate the rest of the round. Plus that wasn't a prime Floyd. Dawson's got nothing on this guy:

Or even what the haters call "Mayrunner":

Pascal didn't get knocked out at all, sooner or later.

When Mayweather was 28, he was on another level entirely. Literally a man amongst boys. Go rewatch the Judah and Gatti fights, that's boxing at it's best.
