REALLY? You don't believe that. This statement was over the top. Everybody knows That he came out in the 12th and took the fight to QUARTEY. The fight was up for grabs in the 12th and OSCAR almost knocked him out and could have gotten a 10-8 round. QUARTEY was only held up by the ropes or else he would have fallen again. CLASSIC fight for both. And as far as him losing every big fight, that's funny OSCAR had a great career and is a true Hall Of Famer. Nobody has done more for boxing in the last 10-15years than him. He made millionaires out of average fighters MAN! From RUELAS to HOPKINS to QUARTEY to MAYWEATHER and VARGAS and STURM......must I keep going? Bottom line is, he was good for the sport and is humble. It's not statistically possible to get into the HALL by LOSING EVERY BIG FIGHT.

And it made me sad.........for many reasons.

1) It's a title fight!.This is Bullcrap! Neither deserve the "vacant"title on the line
W.B.C. is a disgrace for having Margarito as their #1 contender! One who has not fought for almost two years.Are there no other fighters between those years?.And then sanctioning this fight as a championship?. DISGRACEFUL!!
2) Pac fighting a disgraced Margarito so that Margarito can have a good retirement.
3) Pacquiao will not get recognition on this fight.

Mosley - 38 years-old and coming off back to back 8 week training camps (Berto) and the longest inactivaty of his career and he was outboxed by Cotto

Marquez - only had 1 fight at 135 and Floyd fights him at 144 and comes in at 146 the same when he fought Mosley

Hatton - only had 1 fight at 147 and was almost KOed and should have lost to Luis Collazo of all people. It to Floyd 10 rounds to do what it took Manny 90 seconds to do and Manny beat Hatton at his natural weight class.

De La Hoya - a split decision win against a guy that lost every big fight of his career not to mention the gift he got against Quartey

Really, For the record I never defended anybody I didn't like in my life unless there was an unjustice being done, not on a boxing board! But, 99.7% percent of all boxing historians and insiders from Burt Sugar to James Toney to Bernard Hopkins to Larry Merchant agree with me. All of Manny big wins at 122 126, 130, 140, 145, & 147 came against guys 35 and under and in their prime with the exception of Oscar and ranked in the top 5 of their weight division. When Floyd fought Hatton he was not a Top 5 Welter and Marquez was never a Top Welter because he never fought above 135. BTW, if you thought that the 38 year old Mosley with his mouth opened in the second round and only throwing 17 punches after staggering his opponent in the second round and had no reflexes and was begging to be knocked out was a primed Shane Mosley than you are a Mayweather fan.
