Dawson is one of the most versatile boxers today, you really don't know which style he will use, he stayed outside against Johnson because Johnson is a BEAST inside, he stood and fought Adamek and he had Adamek going backwards for most of that fight so it will be interesting to see which strategy Dawson uses for Pascal but I think a lot of people are underestimating Dawson because they are going by what they HEARD about him and not necessary what they have seen

Styles make fights, and I never seen Pascal fight a southpaw before. The little I did see of Pascal leads me to believe that Pascal will be stopped tonight. I would love to see Dawson get KO'd, but it won't happen tonight. I've seen Pascel get hurt with sharp and sneaky punches before. Pascal will show you how much pride he has, but will walk right into a right hook that Dawson will set up. You may say Pascal fought punchers before, but I'm talking about a different kind of punch. I'm talking about the punch you don't see. Froch, and Diacona are predictable. Chad Dawson is not. Dawson by TKO middle rounds.

Did anyone else know that Dawson failed a post fight drug test in 2004? I hadn't really known who he was back then, to be honest, so I wasn't following him and HBO usually avoids talking about it.

For those who don't know the quiet, respectful light heavyweight's failed test didn't come from a performance enhancing drug, as I first suspected, but from smoking weed. Yep, Chad likes to blow trees and failed his drug test due to marijuana.

So, I'll always think of him as the quiet, pothead champion.

It only makes me like him more.

Yeah, I don't see the reasoning behind the NC- other than the fact that it's still illegal- which itself should be debated.

Sorry I missed that thread. I'm not on these forums much anymore because I feel like there's been an influx of loud, idiotic fans that are fans of certain fighters--in the moment--but aren't really boxing fans who care to have discussions about the sport.

I know there's still good posters here but it seems like every time I log in there's a post or thread that has me shaking my head and logging off, not even wanting to reply, before I even post anything...

This will be a great fight and provide tons of action. I think Pascal will hurt Dawson but will lose via decision.

Chad Dawson will rule the sport as number 1 P4P in 2 years. You won't doubt him again after this bout. He will show you that he is in a class above Jean Pascal(who I would be rooting for if he wasn't against Chad) and anyone else near his weight.
