Why do people still think movies are real? Boxing has less incidents of injury than most sports out there. I would agree that someone not up to par stepping into a ring with someone else thaqt came to win can be a recipe for disaster but that is where the promotors/refs/trainers are to blame for not recognizing when to throw a towel. I've been drawn to boxing more over the past year (hockeys back), because there is no other sport that combines shrill talent and heart, that's why they make movies about boxing more than most sports.

As I watched the movie "Cinderella Man," I was confronted with the same problem that i had when i saw "Million Dollar Baby." These two films are examples of acting and directing at their absolute excellence, but the problem is that the audience has to also sit through all of the graphically brutal boing scenes. The big question is why two females beating each other senseless or two males doing the same thing is called a "sport." It's outrageous that boxing can't be outlawed. I think the main reason for this is the money involved. As with drugs and guns, as long as people are will to pay for them, they will continue to exist.

          can you believe the ignorance??!?!??
You have to site your source ( the paper you got it from). This serves two purposes. 1) we are more likely to believe you 2)So I write this ****** and tell to stick to his day-job giving bikini waxes.
