It's pretty clear why mayweather ducked pacquiao

the mosley fight exposed him as having a weak chin.I keep watching the second round over and over and Im still shocked that mosley damn near nearly knocked him out with such an ordinary right hand.there were always su****ions about mayweathers chin and the mosley fight sealed it: his chin is weak.

mosley was too old to capitalize on mayweather doing the silly dance.just look at how weak and feeble his follow up is.

I dont believe he ever truly wanted the fight to begin with but mosley nearly knocking him out pretty much ended any chance of fight between the two ever occuring.

I actually felt that those two huge shots from Mosley only gave me an even more clear indication of the type of confidence and focus Floyd really does have.

He got hit with two huge powerful punches, one buckled his leg and almost dropped him.

He knew to hold, get immediately re focused on his gameplan, then come out the next round like nothing happened.

If anything I think it gave him MORE confidence, that he knows he can be rocked and it still won't effect him.

lol.....for one,pac woudn't land that type of shot, let's get that straight. two, pac wouldn't be on his p.e.d's so that means his punch output/power would go down considerably. three, floyd's chin is better than past prime 145lbs cotto. four, floyd recovering ability after taking a big shot is atg status, he is one of greatest of all-time at knowing what to do after taking a big shot. manny doesn't stand a chance with ost's.

May has suffered only 1 knockdown in his career. Give Mosley credit for landing 2 bombs in the 2nd rd(his previous fight margarito ko) and also give May credit for weathering the storm n shutting Mosley down after that!

it would have been a different story had mosley kept the pressure on floyd in the next rounds after he hurt him...unfortunately, shane gassed out very early in the fight.
