The sad fact is both these two are going to be past their best by the time they meet. Or, at least Pacquiao will be off his peak. (Floyd in general has looked very good against Marquez and Mosely). In fact, I think the stalling by Floyd is allowing for extra time for Pac to be softened up by all the guys Floyd ducked.

Anyway, wish this happened by now...
      my thoughts exactly!

i dont see it happening. i just hope you guys wont come up with any excuse if Manny whoop his ass. like FLoyd past his prime etc etc.
Floyd wont have time to make adjustment because of the pressure that Manny will throw him. Manny throw so many combinations i dont think FLoyd would have a time to make adjustment.

Floyd wants to stall, when he could've fought and made his money already

You better believe Floyd is praying that Margs somehow beats Pac, so he can make the excuse to duck him, which he already has. Floyd is great in making excuses to why he refuses to fight guys even if the public wants it.

I think a good portion of the momentum for the fight is lost already, i hope dawson wins tomorrow and a big fight with Bute can take some attention off Pac-May. Alexander vs Bradley also will help.

As a side note, i will be very suprised if Floyd even fights this year, if he does than expect those PPV numbers to go very down. I don't expect him to face PW or Martinez this year either.

It's such a shame. We just want to know certain things, and now we'll never know. We'll never have closure on an era.

Manny will never be over the top. He has god to fuel him in fight like Holyfield. He can fight until maybe 45 and he will lie back enjoy life.

                  Exactly what i've been thinking

Pac's been in sooo many wars, and Floyd's hands are always giving him problems

When we see the fight it will probably be like Hopkins-Jones 2

The fact is Pac has only fought Clottey since the first fall through and now Margarito, NOT COTTO. And be honest...Pac hasnt taken any damage since the Marquez fight. The Oscar, Hatton, and all the top rank staged fights havent done nothing but fatten Pacs pockets. The only draw back I see in this fight is Floyd turning 34 and taking a year off. Other then that the storm might die down but the moment these two sign to actually fight, you'll be the first one to buy it.
Cotto gave Pac the most damage ever by a single fighter.
