    Why isn't Williams-Martinez II happening?

Its less than two months away from Martinez's return date. Williams was given two options, Dzinziruk and Martinez. There was probably no negotiations for a Dzinziruk fight if Dzinziruk-Collazo fight is in the talks now, because if there was any talks then there had to be a disagreement, which would have been announced by Team Williams/Dzinziruk by now. Also, I know Dzinziruk would jump at the opportunity to fight him, so he would probably agree to all his terms.

Which only leaves option left for Williams...Sergio Martinez. Is he waiting for Floyd to finish vacationing, is he in the talks with someone else like Smith or Martirosyan or is this a blatant duck? Nobody from his team has said anything, so who knows. I heard there were some things they had to iron out, and now all of a sudden Angulo gets mentioned for Martinez? What do you think?

HBO wants it, Martinez wants it and Paul wants more than 50-50 split.

      YOU be the judge.

HBO said Williams opponents will be Dzizniruk or Martinez.

Since The Razor is fighting Collazo, and Martinez was turned down by Angulo is pretty obvious that the fight will happen.

They were in the talks like two weeks ago, and I believe there were some things they had to sort out. But then all of a sudden Martinez gives Angulo an offer, so my guess is someone didn't like something on the contract. I bet it had something to do with the split.

I can't remember where I read it, but they negotiating to do the fight in Atlantic City, and they had some things to iron out on the contract. But then all of a sudden Angulo gets mentioned. You think something might have happened?

Not really. I dont when HBO's date is for Willams. But they have a card for October 2nd that neither one of them are on. They'll fight each other.

I wasn't aware of that. I thought it was Martinez's date. Well in that case you're right, if it happens it'll probably be on another date, because they don't even have enough time for a full camp at this point. I know there's an early November date available.

On October second its an HBO triple header with Berto, Cab and Dziznriuk none of the opponents are Paul or Martinez.

If HBO was smart theyd toss Williams-Martinez on the Pacquio-Margarito undercard. Not sure how that would go over with Haymon and Dibella though.
