Yes because a guys height and his style mean the same thing.

Dude you are a lame for real. You revert to calling people "*******s" and "BoxingRec Warriors" yet cry about other people name calling......and you are also the one calling people hypocrites in your own thread. You do know that you are being a hypocrite don't you?

you insult others as if you are a boxing authority and tell others to watch more boxing as if you know how much boxing they have seen. You are a funny dude though, I'll give you that...I get quite a kick out of your posts and especially how 99% of the replies to YOUR THREAD are "owning" you....you do frequently use that term as well and I can see why as you seem to get "owned" a lot.

          What is this 5th grade?

He gets more respect? How. Paul is ranked ahead of him ON EVERY P4P List and last I checked he handed Martinez a lost.

When all the writers have you ranked over said guy is that not respect?

But instead his fans want him to line his pockets because hes "35". Newsflash I dont know when you started following him but he looks to be in his prime. He started boxing late and is now at his peak. Calzaghe was 36 and leading boxing in workrate. His age is no excuse.
So every fighter in the world can fight at an elite level when they are in there late 30's becasue Joe C did? Well *** me who would of knew that this was a common occurance? There must be like 200 Bernard Hopkins fighters then that can fight well into their mid 40's!!!

And fighting some Euro for no money is what sergio did for 80% of his career smart guy!! He just made a buzz in the boxing world for the first time and won Thee MW championship of the world and he wants to follow it up against the most avoided man in boxing but No Ceilings here wants him to fight some guy who's is just another in a long line of untested euro fighters because he's held some trinket belt for ex ammount of time.

Im not saying the fight shouldn't happen Im just saying do you seriously think that this is the best fight that could be made for Sergio at this time?

Come on now NC you devote your entire life defending Floyds good "buissness" decisions when it come to who he selects to fight but Sergio comes up with a list of top fighters and you want him to fight the untested euro guy? ***!!!!!!

No dude the answers are the same which have been pointed out to you throughout the entire thread because there aren't many of both and where did you get they sent a contract to Angulo? They haven't sent a contract to Angulo, anyways Martinez is entitled to a money fight right now after his last 3 fights and the guys that bring more money are not named Dzinziruk. Martinez is willing to fight anyone but the fights that the fans want to see aren't the ones that favor them economically and you say you can't have that line of thinking but yet you support Mayweather (and I know this thread has nothing to do with Mayweather) but one of the biggest arguments Mayweathers fans have is "fans don't pay fighters bills", I don't know if you have said it or not but if you had that would be contradictory right now.

LOL @ Burner going to ridiculous lengths in an attempt to cook up some hate against Sergio Martinez.

Gotta appreciate the effort but this thread is drawing a very long bow Burner, as pretty much everyone has told you.

thats what bothers you,the fact that paul williams is ranked higher than sergio yet most people think sergio is the better boxer and yea paul may have gave sergio a loss yet sergio stock seem to rise from that fight and williams droped

Now Martinez is sitting with feet up dissing the longest reigning champ of his former division like hes a nobody then going after face first guys like Angulo.

That doesnt sit well with me. You got a guy like Paul Williams who could st back and face Angulo and Marg types all day and outwork them to a 8-4 UD. But what does he do instead he doesnt mind fighting a Martinez, doesnt mind fighting a Quintana twice, doesnt mind fighting Sergiy. Guys who are all left handed with the style to give him trouble.

When will Martinez step out of his comfort zone and fight in a scrap where the style clash isnt heavily leaning in his favor.
Stop praising Paul Williams, it's nauseating.

HBO appearances do make you a star. Those guys aren't huge gate draws...and they might not be PPV draws. But they are established enough that HBO puts up good money for their fights. By boxers standards, that makes them stars.

Pavlik didn't go out of his way, you are blatantly making **** up. Pavlik's two biggest fights were Williams and Martinez...since Williams wanted 50-50, Pavlik went with Martinez.

You are making yourself sound less and less intelligent. Williams fought those guys because he had to. Now that Williams perceives himself as a draw, he's turning his nose up to everyone at 154-160...that's how things go.

Martinez had to take who he could get coming up...and now he's in a position where he can chose a bigger money fight cause he finally has some leverage.

Stop pretending Martinez has been handpicking opponents, guys that handpick opponents don't fight Paul Williams.
