i think thats how it looks to the casual fan, and sum mayweather haters, most dont understand the business of boxing, the bob arum relationship, nobody has any info on the actual negotiations. all the public knows if the fight isn't happening blame Floyd. (Mayweather PR team or lack thereof is worst in the history of sport)
Arum's PR genuis has always determined what the public opinion of Floyd is since he left Top Rank & this is in part his fault, dude needs a better teamComment

As much as i like Mayweather he isnt handling the "Situation" in the right way at the moment, I really dont know whats going on behind the scene but the way he has gone on with posting of "Pictures" and his "Vacation" stories isnt making him any fans. As a fan i find it difficult to defend his recent actions and the fact that he might be fighting once a year doesnt bold well for his career.Comment

this is pretty telling
and some **** here are still talking about drug testing like it was important to him in the first place, haha. He's refusing to fight. He's refusing to make a statement (outside of his adviser/promoter Leonard Ellerbe saying that "no negotiations have ever taken place nor was there ever a deal agreed upon … to fight Manny Pacquiao on Nov. 13.") in defense of why Pacquiao is fighting Antonio Margarito instead on that date.
He's refusing to do anything more than let live the statement he made last month claiming he's "not really thinking about boxing right now. I'm just relaxing. I fought about 60 days ago, so I'm just enjoying myself, enjoying life, enjoying my family, enjoying my vacation."
How long does a vacation last when the other world-dominating-pound-for-pound title holder puts the ball in your court, throws down the gauntlet in your corner?Comment

Dude, if he handled this situation differently, he'd still get crucified by the media because Pacquiao is this eras hype job. It is what it is, and his situation with the media is no different than Jack Johnson being called a coward by the champ Tommy Burns and the media, whom he actually stalked but Burns refused to fight until forced. All Pacquiao needed to do was take a blood test, and every other consideration was in his favor for March, but he walked away and sued Floyd. Same ****, different era.As much as i like Mayweather he isnt handling the "Situation" in the right way at the moment, I really dont know whats going on behind the scene but the way he has gone on with posting of "Pictures" and his "Vacation" stories isnt making him any fans. Aren't the "casual fans" the ones who contribute to Floyd's PPV #s? I don't consider myself a casual fan...but take into account Floyd's millions of buys....what do you think the ratio is of "casual" vs "real" fans that actually bought them?i think thats how it looks to the casual fan, and sum mayweather haters, most dont understand the business of boxing, the bob arum relationship, nobody has any info on the actual negotiations. all the public knows if the fight isn't happening blame Floyd. My point being...if you are turning away your "casual" fans...and not making any new ones to replace them by your actions (or lack there of) theoretically your PPV #s would take a drastic hit yes?
Pacquiao did his 700K buys against Clottey....and I can almost guarantee that 80% of those buys were from "asian" and harcore Pacquiao fans.....give Pacquiao a fighter like Mosley, which I think he should still fight, and his buys will surpass 1 mili buys...or at the very least match Floyd/Mosley. Just my opinion though.Comment
