He has to beat Shane Mosley and Joshua Clottey or just one will do.

perhaps Berto should actually fight good fighters, then maybe he would deserve something?
maybe he should rematch Collazo, which is long overdue?

A Clottey fight would be a smart way to go.

Who do you think he should fight? In my opinion the only good names left for him are Cotto, Mosley, Clottey, Williams and the Bradley-Alexander winner. (this should be his opponent next year).

He tried to do a rematch with Collazo, but the negotiations didn't go very well.

Pac would never face Berto. He's not a Top Rank fighter. Theoretically, he could earn a shot by beating Cotto or Clottey, but Clottey won't be approved for any more HBO fights, and Bob's keeping everything in-house for the moment anyway, which is why he turned down Cotto vs Berto earlier this Summer. If Shane vs Berto had happened Jan 29, it would had been a very tough fight for both, though I would had favored Shane a bit. I'd favor Berto now, but Shane doesn't seem to have him on his radar, and is talking absurd things about fighting Pac at 160. As for Floyd, if he wants a tune up before Pac, he could end up facing Berto this winter.

mistake to not fight Mosley even after the Floyd loss
still coulda been Berto's biggest win had he actually won
              147 has dried out now
Clottey deserves nothing, and Cotto wasn't interested
he could fight Williams, but he'd lose
Berto only gets one of them if their other possibilities are exhausted

For sure if he wants a fight with Pac. If he wants a fight with Floyd, he might have to fire his rep, Al Haymon.

If was Berto was with Arum, you better believe he would be fighting Pac in November.

It's sad that a lot of great potential fights are prevented due to management and promotional companies. I really think Berto should be first in line, besides Martinez or Williams to get a shot at one at the big two. What Berto brings to the table is an exciting fighting style and a 0 on his record. And he's an American. Pac and Berto would be a war, but I think Floyd would shut him out.

                  What he can do??

Get even more hyped by HBO.

Dude looked **** against smaller and average Urango, get outboxed by Collazo.
Quintana was over the hill and still hurt him bad.

A KO is waiting to happen and we all know that...

He earned his shot against a Cotto,a Margo or a Clottey tough.
So yes could be the best way.

But if those guys are something close to their prime, they will beat him.

Yeah he looked so much like **** that he won every round. At the end of the Collazo fight, Berto had Collazo hurt and holding on. Beat him up the entire round. It was a competitive fight. It wasn't one sided. It's convenient for bias posters like you to say "Collazo outboxed him" without objectively breaking down what happened in the fight. But I've already seen that you're incapable of objectivity.

Clottey would be a nice match for him and perhaps the only feasible one at this point. Who else is out there?
