How can Berto earn a shot at Pacquiao or Floyd?

Now that he's scurried to #3 on The Ring's rankings without actually doing anything (courtesy of Clottey, Mosley and Cotto losing to Pac and Floyd, and also Cotto moving up), what can he do from there to earn a shot at Pacquiao or Floyd? Perhaps if he were to beat Clottey and Cotto?

Agreed. Even Floyd, if he wanted to.

I honestly think he would have gotten knocked out pretty early by Mosley if they fought that night. Imagine him running in like he did against Quintana and getting caught with a Mosley right hand. Or imagine him getting caught with the shot Floyd got caught with.

Perhaps if Berto stepped up to a few higher profile fights he would get a few calls. Even if he met an opponent he wasn't such a big favorite to beat.
