can anyone give me a logical reason why floyd would ask for 10 million guaranteed to fight cotto in 2006 when thats the same amount he made for the delahoya fight? floyd just did 350k buys and he's asking for 10 million guaranteed? after hoya and floyd did 2 million buys he only made 11 mill guaranteed in his next fight. why did he ask for so much to fight a guy who was fighting on boxing after dark? he didn't ask for 10 million guaranteed to fight judah or baldomir so what's the deal? is there any logical explanation besides he didnt want to fight cotto and he wanted to cherry pick easier fights like baldomir for less? anyone?

There won't be any accurate indications as to where he would be on major lists til well after his retirement.
Most would place him rather high, and few (with validity) would ever place Manny even close, so let's not even go there.

yes he was at showtime and was trying to reach a deal between both companies to make the fight. where was mayweather during this? fighting bruseles, corley and gatti. was he trying to make a deal to fight the dominate fighter in the division...........nope!
