It will be interesting to see who can get the upper hand in it but i can see a pretty cagey fight with some nice combinations thrown in, especially from dirrell

this is by far the fight i wanted to see most this year, more than floyd-pac, more than bradley-alexander or wlad-haye. ward-dirrell is the best fight out there for my taste.

one man trying to keep his undefeated streak and title, the other trying to win his first title and advance into the semi finals of the super six so both will be very motivated.

nobody in the super six stands a real good chance to beat ward other than dirrell imo, a punchers chance maybe but thats it. dirrell has the style to beat ward, hes never faced someone who holds this many physical advantages over him. dirrell has faster hands, faster feet, is bigger and taller, hits harder and is closer than anyone else in the super six to match his skill set. thats were ward has an edge though, skills, smarts and mental strenght. but how will he apply it against dirrell? can he outbox him with his smarts taking advantage of dirrells fundamental flaws or will he try to make it rough and see if dirrell folds?

this fight will be boxing, the sweet science. we will see physical and technical skills at the highest level, not to mention strategical skills since both will be forced to adapt. dont forget that both are switch hitters, i cant recall ever seeing two guys who use both stances every fight square of against eachother. it will be very interesting to see how that factors into the fight. true pugilism when two future greats square of early in their careers, cant wait

What if Ward just lets him win so their is another American in the semis? lol I see it being a pretty boring fight with no one taking a stand except for Dirrell for the most part and see him taking a split decision. What do yous think?

I think people will be shocked at how good this fight is. I'm not expecting a hug fest, or a bunch of slaps and pity pat punches, I'm expecting a highly entertaining chess match.

Dirrell is the only fighter in this tournament that seems to have a style capable of beating Ward, and is actually going to be the more athletic fighter, can't wait to see this fight.

He'd also lose his belt if he lost the belt. He will come ready and ready to win.

This will be a good fight. Both guys can box with Dirrell being somewhat faster and more mobile. I love Dirrell but I expect Ward to hold his own (not dominate) on the outside, and go to town with hard body shots to break Dirrell.

I meant Dirrell, it was late and I was typing fast

But I did mean Dirrell has the edge in power
