One of the few things i really hate about the fighting game is media/popularity trains. And Pacquiao provided he's no bum, has ride that wave too often. In the DLH fight I was rooting for him. Hatton I thought that was an ok fight despite knowing Hatton had no chance, afteral he had came off a fight he was supposed to lose in the casual fan's mind. Then Clottey, Cotto, Margarito, ALL damaged goods! Someone actually great like Floyd would be crucified if he fought someone not coming out of a spectacular win, yet Pacquiao gets away with fighting padding fights for this long? *** that I won't support that. So it's not so much me hating on Pacquiao but thinking he's not that good. Let him fight Khan, Bradley, Ortiz you know, the guys who actually have a chance
They are telling you how good they think he is, so why dont you listen when they are telling you how good they think he is? Cotto said hes the best he fought. Margarito or his trainers practically said the same thing. So why wouldnt they know how good he is? Just cos Cotto has lost before dont you think hes in a position to say how good Pac is in comparison to everyone hes ever fought? But ok dont listen to them then, cant you see with your own eyes how good he is? He is outclassing them, busting their faces up, what more can he do for you? We know what our eyes see, so dont even try to have the audacity to try pull the wool over our eyes. Only someone totally deluded would even attempt it.!
Yes, when someone knocks pac out you will say " i told you so he was overated" wont you? But no one is doing it, so why dont he get some credit at least until someone knocks him out or outclasses him, and why isnt he as good as people paint him to be?Last edited by hugh grant; 05-06-2011, 05:09 PM.
