Will Amir Khan get knocked out in the next 2 years? Official Poll!

No hate or disrespect to Khan. I think he's great and I'm definitely a fan. I'm just curious what everyone thinks considering how loaded 140 lbs is with different styles. IMO he will be taking more dangerous fights soon, and with every fight I think he will get a bit braver with his chin. Eventually someone is going to get their hands on it. So what does everyone think, if you had to guess, will he or won't he get knocked out in the next 2 years?

It all depends on if he actually fights the top guys at 140 in the next 2 years? This kid is protected more than Fort Knox, as soon as he steps in with a puncher the hype will be shattered just like his chin.

Suppose he fights JMM next, or even Michael Katsidis.. Where else would he go but against 140 lbers. I think it's safe to assume he will be forced to take more dangerous fights soon. There aren't anymore credible lightweights moving up, and IMO his team will be ready to test the waters with him.

Zelenoff is fighting MMA now. He'll be in the UFC in the next year or so if Dana White doesn't try to sign him to a slave contract.

There are only so many ways to maneuever Khan in the 140 lb division. He's likely to have one more fight against one of the bigger name lightweights in JMM or Katsidis, however after that there isn't really anywhere for him to go but against more dangerous 140 lbers. Perhaps a rematch with Prescott? Or more likely, a fight against Victor Ortiz or Zab. Either way he'll likely be in the ring with a puncher of some sort in the next 12 months. He already beat all the safe looks in the division.
