Why is timothy bradley not a big draw in boxing?

he fights in that little 2000 seat venue while other boxers in the 140 pound division have very big followings alexander just had 9,000 in the lou, amir khan sells big in england, judah still has a big fanbase shown by his last fight in newark, and even victor ortiz had like almost 8,000 fans when he fought maidana so why hasnt bradley been able to bulid a fanbase even in his hometown??

No charisma, doesn't have much of a story. That and how boxing works.

Bradley is probably as popular as Alexander. A lot of those tickets on Saturday were giveaways.

Exactly, its not like he has been around forever and has been getting much TV time for dozens of fights.

No one really knew who he was until about 3-4 fights ago

Hell to the no. Trust me on that. Alexander has always sold more, always. i don't know the numbers, but I suspect the HBO view rate was very high last saturday. if you can draw football teams and the likes of Mayweather and Holyfield you are doing well.

It's his style. Bradley doesnt have alot of power and he doesnt seem to have any special talent about him. Iv'e only seen his fight with Witter but he looked like a guy who just was very well rounded and hungry for success. He also leads alot with his head which is offputting to alot of people. There is a simular thing with Andre Ward.

People were very excited about Devon Alexander because he looked as though he could become a special talent. With Bradley, He's undefeated but he doesnt have the exciting style or charisma that makes him stand out.

But if he keeps winning. Things will improve for him.

I don't think he will be a superstar. you have to have a great personality or be an extreme crowd pleaser to do so.
