Comments Thread For: Cunningham: I Hope Bradley Grows Balls, Fights Devon

BoxingScene.com spoke to Kevin Cunningham, manager/trainer of WBC/IBF junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander. When asked to assess Alexander's performance against Andriy Kotelnik from last Saturday, Cunningham had this to say - "it wasn't Devon's best performance. Athletes have nights where they are on and nights where they are off and Devon definitely had an off night." [Click Here To Read More]

Regardless if he thinks Devon is ready for Bradley or not, they can't exactly say they aren't ready for him, and risk looking scared after all of this back and forth trash talking

Well you can"t call him a ducker if he wants to fight the best guy at 140.

Kotelnik should push for a Maidana rematch and try to fight the winner of this fight.

Why? So when your boy's getting smack and getting frustrated you could blab out "you gotta box, you gotta keep boxin em". Although I am really intrigued by a potential Judah vs Alexander matchup, that'd be a good 'comeback' fight....but for which fighter?

Bradley should be even more confident of beating Alexander considering his poor performance last saturday.

i think cummingham and alexander should grow a better game plan and fight kotelnik again and save some face. it was a win but a highly disputed win and has left a lot of questions alexanders skill set and his ability to win convincingly against another world champ or ex world champ at that.

the bradley fight is attractive but the doubt is set in the mind of the boxing public about alexander. i think they should fix the tainted performance and then go after bradley, but we all know this is a play for the money, trying to get paid before getting turned out by the dirty underbelly of boxing, i get it nd understand, but lets not get things twisted, alexander left a lot of people thinking, is he really viable at the top among the A level in and around his division, i say yes, but he has to prove it, you can't overlook your last performance like it never happened.......

rematch kotelnik, then go after everyone else.
