you just cannot take what people post on this board serious, a lot of it is not honest, many of it is Racially Motivated, Countrymen PRIDE Motivated, or simply just people Trying To Convince Others That Their Favorite Fighters Is The Best and a bunch of other BS that really has nothing to do with Boxing

Alexander is a talented YOUNG fighters that obviously still has a lot of things he needs to work on, does that mean all of a sudden he can't beat any of the Top Guys at 140? Absolutely NOT! But in order for him to do so he will have to fight A LOT better then he did Saturday and that is something and can and I am sure WILL do, he is only 23 so he has room to grow, it is not like he got KO'd in 54 second by some unknown D Level fighter lol

people actually think they are disrespecting Alexander but in actuality they are disrespecting Kotelnik a lot more which is really pathetic, Kotelnik deserves credit for his performance, instead of people just pointing out what Alexander did WRONG...what about what Kotelnik DID RIGHT!

he has never seen that Winky Wright peek a boo style before, it catches a lot of people off guard. No one here was calling Cotto a bum when he had a very similar fight with Clottey, nor did many call Trinidad a bum when he was walked down and dominated for 12 rounds by Winky Wright.

It's even worse that Alexander was supposed to dominate Kotelnik but instead he had to get a gift decision to win.

I will admit that Kotelnik is better than what people give him credit for but the fact that Devon couldn't be competitive with him for 12 shows he's not ready for the top of the division.
No it doesn't styles make fightsHazumi Hazegawa got flattened by Montiel, based on styles, does that mean he cantbeat all the other guys in his division? Styles make fights man.

I don't think the fight was close. But also don't think Kotelnik is a bum like everyone else. He's competitive against all the 140lbers. Devin just didn't seen to try anything different.

Heres the truth - Its not these fighters and prospects that are getting exposed its there nut hugging fans who are just dying to be on the bandwagon of the next GREAT fighter. Good fighters, Very good fighters and even great fighters dont always shine and sometimes they even lose, people put them on too much of a pedestal tho
