Alexander = Over hyped, maybe bad night also because of overlooking for Bradley

Kotelnik = Under appreciated, Maybe hungry

I think both fights were close as hell, and neither guys were "exposed". Stylistically, Holt and Kotelnik just happened to bring some kryptonite with them - but couldn't quite deliver it convincingly.

Wait a minute.... Bradley-Holt was a close fight?

Other than the two knockdowns, what was close about it?

The first Bradley-Holt knockdown was a result of Bradley letting his emotions get the best of him after Holt called him a b**ch before the opening bell. I guarantee that'll never happen again.

However the second knockdown was some wreckless s**t, along with Holt being one of the sneakiest guys (possibly THE sneakiest guy) in the division. He caught Bradley coming in with a punch that wasn't very big at all, but he moved out of the way and let Bradley run into the ropes, which was ruled a knockdown. That was probably one of the smartest moves I've seen in a while.

Well, I found it to be scrappy as hell and tricky to nail the clean punches because of how messy both guys were. I had it a draw the first time (I really thought Bradley was going to lose his "0"), but on second viewing I ended up with 115-111 and my friend had it 114-112.

Just an awful fight to score IMO, but still exciting.

bingo and my problem with what Dougie wrote was that he failed to see a pattern in what Devon was doing vs Bradley basically winning the vast majority of rounds yet getting caught by a hard punching Holt.

Devon being exposed isn't 100% true but there were some things on display that could be construed as exposed. He cannot defend a lead right nor an inside jab

                      That is a terrible comparison.

Bradley got caught by huge left hook in the first which would of ko'd pretty much every other light welterweight but after that outworked and outpunched Holt until the 12th where he got caught with a sneaky uppercut again.

Bradley clearly won regardless of the knockdowns. That fight showed he had a heart of a warrior and a very good chin. I don't call that being exposed.

Alexander on the other hand got beat up clearly by a fighter he was supposed to beat. Kotelnik exposed Alexander for his lack of defense and experience.
