    D. Fischer: "Alexander was no more EXPOSED by Kotelnik than Bradley was against Holt"

The St. Louis native needs more than 21 bouts and just one tough fight under his belt. He’s on his way to gaining the seasoning that will see him through future ring wars with top-notch opposition, but I think he needs another hard 12-rounder vs. another experienced vet (perhaps a rematch with Kotelnik) or a young contender (I bet Lamont Peterson is available) before he’s truly ready to live up to the hype too many fans and fight scribes heaped on him after his stoppages of Junior Witter and Juan Uarango.

Thank you for not playing the “exposed” card. Alexander was no more exposed by Kotelnik than Bradley was against Kendall Holt. Saturday night was a growing experience for the young man, as the tough Holt fight was for Bradley last April.

I’m not a judge but I occasionally play a boxing writer on TV. I agree with your scoring criteria and I thought Kotelnik won the fight by a 116-112 score. To be Frank, I thought the Ukrainian vet put an ass whuppin’ on Alexander late in the fight.

The difference is that Bradley won most of the rounds against Holt.

Alexander lost most of the rounds against Kotelnik. I don't see the comparison.

The thing is Bradley got dropped more then once and won his fight with no doubts. Alexander won a fight many people felt he lost. And quiet as kept urango was hitting him with right hand before he got dropped.

I'm all for young fighters growing but the backlash is coming because people was jumpin on Alexander's d1ck And claiming he was the best thing since slice bread.

dougie is trying to say that some of their flaws were more pronounced in those fights than they were in previous fight.

I wouldn't really call Bradley exposed. He was in against a good puncher and got caught a few times. No shame in that. Plus he dominated the fight aside from a couple of knockdowns. Alexander (In my eyes) lost a fight against a guy he was 9-1 favourite to beat. I wouldn't say he was 'exposed' but he definitely isn't ready for the top guys at 140 just yet. He probably needs another couple of tough fights before he steps in with Bradley. He would have been stopped by Bradley last night, and if a fight happens between them as early as January, he will be stopped.

Alexander just isn't ready for Bradley yet. And if the fight gets pushed ahead before he is ready, we could potentially be looking at a ruined fighter before he hits 25.

I'd like to see anyone else at 140 get hit with that punch, then get up and whoop Holts ass...

                He's either exposed, or overhyped.

                Pick one.

                  Maidana would do it.

Like he did with Victoria Ortiz.

The difference is Bradley got caught with punches he didn't even see coming.

Devon got caught with punches he saw coming all 12 rounds consistently and didn't do a damn thing about it.

To quote Mayweather Sr. Move your damn head, or someone will move it for you.
