Harrison would prefer to fight Haye for the bigger payday.

However, no one knows exactly what Haye's next move will be. He may decide to fight Harrison, or he may choose to fight Hopkins or Holyfield.

What we DO know is that Haye's next opponent will be an older, slower boxer, age 37 or over, like Ruiz, Barrett and Valuev were.

The EBU make people mandatories and call for purse offers all the time. And people pull out all the time, if the fights are not attractive.

Before the deadline of Friday, 3rd September, Harrison will surely know if he is getting that Haye fight. If he isn't, a Dimitrenko fight is a plausible alternative.

But Harrison just entered the WBA ratings at no. 13, so that may be a sign that the Haye fight might be happening.

Harrison would stay inactive for three years to wait for Haye.

                    He's cashing out.
