    Then came back and improved
If Alexander does the same, people will rate him highly again.

      Who's writing Devon off?

By saying Marquez vs Devon is a competitive fight counts as writing someone off? Come on man, I think someone is getting a bit too sensitive here.

I think Marquez will take this one he is a counter puncher and Devon throws and throws but doesn't hit u and Marquez will time him perfectly.. That being said I think Devon has really fast hands but he has to have a CLEAR decision this wouldn't be st Louis so he wouldn't get the decision that's close

How do we know he has improved? He hasn't fought anyone who can punch since he got sparked by Prescott. I want to see him fight his mandatory Maidana. That chin will get shattered again.

            off of one fight?!

People are you SERIOUS? You guys are basing this **** off of one average night from Alexander. Mavsfan, give me another example of when Alexander had poor accuracy.

              Possibly
But everything else that could be improved, was.

Devon has a 4inch reach advantage. There isn't a huge difference.
                I've already said all this.

of course JMM can time Devon.

I just question how consistently throughout 12 rounds, at 37, in a new weight class.

                That's the whole problem.

Consistently timing and countering Devon at 37, at 140... like he did at 130 against Pac when he was 33-34.

Either way, Devon is STILL bigger than Marquez regardless if he's not a big 140lber, like Bully said... Marquez isn't even a big lightweight.

I'm certainly not writing Devon off... I think he beats everyone except Bradley.

And Bradley keeps showing signs he wants to move to welterweight later in his career, which could leave room for Alexander to really take over the division.

Maybe, but at the end of the day you can't improve a glass chin.

He got the work rate decision because he was the hometown guy
Kotelnik hit him with cleaner more efficient punches I just think if kotelnik would of won one of the first rounds maybe he would of won it

How many Great accuracies have Devon performed vs top opponent?

Devon is still quite untested. That's why this fight would make an intriguing one and a competitive one.
