I think John, Gamboa, Cab have a shot. Many people think Marquez can pull it off but I'm not sure.

The obvious challenges for him are Caballero and Gamboa. If those guys weren't in the division it would be easy to say that Lopez is head and shoulders above all the competition because of lack of competition. Outside of those three guys, I view the division as weak because I don't think John and Rojas are as good as people make them out to be.

Take off Chris John and I agree.

IMO Lopez stops Chris John in a good fight. The kid has pop and good timing, but his undoing against Gamboa, Caballero, and Rojas will be his lack of defense and willingness to slug it out.

It quite possibly can do him in against Rafa. If Rafa can take Lopez' punch and not get hit too much by the Lopez right hand, he will knock him out. When time comes, I will take the odds on Rafa by KO.

Gamboa's the most talented fighter on the planet right now. Bar none. I gladly gloat on being one of the first on the bandwagon, at least since he has turned pro and he hasn't proven me wrong yet. He will beat CC and Juanma wheneve they get it on.

Just out of curiousity.....you don't give Chris John any chance against Lopez? He did beat Juan Manuel Marquez and that should count for something right?

That is a pretty bold statement right there....lol.

Not to flame, but that is borderline outrageous, and this is coming from someone who actually likes him as a fighter.

He has huge flaws, and there are several things he needs to work on.

Honestly wouldn't be shocked he if got UD by Rojas.

I'm just saying this so you wont be disappointing in the kid if he comes up short, especially since you are putting him on that type of pedestal.

Caballero and John both would get knockedout for sure. Gamboa could 2 but that'll be a shootout. I like Elio Rojas out of the 3 but idk if he could beat Juanma.
