STFU Iceta you dirty ****. Cotto is one of the best fighters of this era. You should stop your blind hate and jealousy.
Which of these guys deserves HOF consideration more? Miguel Cotto or Glen Johnson?

At one point, I remember him being credible...now he seems radical and sure does seem to have an unhealthy obsession for Cotto like the above poster mentioned.
I'm pretty sure he isn't a fan of Glenn Johnson, he's just looking for ways to discredit Cotto by bringing up Johnson of all people. Glenn Johnson is a good fighter no doubt, but he's far less accomplished than Cotto. Glenn Johnson loses to contenders and rising stars and Cotto brutalizes them. Its such a silly comparison...
EDIT: I forgot...Johnson did beat Yusaf Mack...Cotto has nothing on that...
Equally Cotto gets overrated on here somewhat due to the fanatical support that he has.
Regardless, Iceta has, as always, failed to bring up any semi-logical arguments in his attempts to bash Cotto's name.
He has reverted to "Lol, but Mosley lost decisively to Mayweather and Clottey lost decisively to Pacquiao! Lol", as his arguments.
He is a fool with no idea whatsoever about boxing.Comment

LMFAO @ ICETA........... 2 me none of da above at least Cotto no yet. But if to u a guy with a bunch of so many "almost wins" and so many "close defeats" is a HOF, I think u r as boxing smart as my pu$$y a$$ Yorkie Terrier.............Comment

Remember guys. Call me an idiot all you want, but wins over guys like:
Tarver
Jones
Harding
Griffin
Reggie Johnson
Woods
Cotto's resume consists of two razor close victories over Clottey and Mosley. Malinaggi isn't that good of a fighter. Corley, Torres, Quintana, Branco, Gomez, and Foreman are not better than the fighters listed above that Johnson beat. Sure the pole may be lopsided. But that's because Cotto has some of the most fanatical supporters on this site. I haven't heard one person give me a legitimate reason why Cotto should get voted in the HOF before Johnson does.Comment

It should easily be Johnson over Cotto if I had to pick though both guys will get in I am pretty sure.
The poll results are disgraceful as Johnson has fought and beaten some very solid opposition in his time and even if it was for a brief period he was the undisputed champion at LHW regardless of whether all of the belt were at stake or not, IDK really and it doesn't matter.
Cotto though he fought and beat some good opponents takes a real hit compared to Johnson getting stopped by a fighter 2 divisions smaller than himself and never having been the man at any weight class he fought in.Comment

This was another one of my threads that I found pretty funny. Seriously, I know it's old people. But if Glen Johnson and Cotto get consideration for the HOF, why should Cotto go in first? Because of his popularity? It boggles my mind why Cotto leads this pole so one-sidedly.Comment
