Which of these guys deserves HOF consideration more? Miguel Cotto or Glen Johnson?

Johnson for me and it's not even close. And I don't think either guy should make it to the HOF.

Johnson's resume ****s on Cotto's.

All the titles Johnson won weren't vacant either.

Obviously Johnson. And I do believe he deserves to be a Hall of Famer. I'll say the same thing I said before. If wins over an old Barrera, Juarez, Juan Diaz, old Casamayor and a draw with Pacquiao is a hall of famer record, then so is Johnson's.

i think johnson was clearly a better fighter, cotto just got more recognition throughout his career because of boxing politics. if cotto had the politics against him like johnson none of us would know his name right now imo. if johnson got the cotto treatment he would go down as one of the 2-3 best fighters of his era imo.

with that said..Johnson is a great fighter who should definitely be a first ballot HOFer..I don't see why he wouldn't be..

its because hes the more successful/popular fighter at the present time.

thats generally just how peoples' minds work. a few years from now when Cotto is dropping loses to up and coming prospects and struggling with journeymen, they probably will be thinking differently.
