Margarito IN HIS Prime would never get dominated by a Kotelnik.

Exactly.
It's just an absurd premise for a thread.
Might as well just start a thread to boost your fav fighter every time some Top 3 guy from another division has a hard fight against a guy who wasn't highly thought of...who was quite probably underestimated, anyway.
Like I said, y'know, just maybe Kotelnik was a little slept-on re. his "caliber" coming into the fight? Worth a thought.Comment

IMO thread should be locked, no incentive/purpose for discussion here just an absurd OP.Exactly.

Slept on is an excuse. I could say the same thing about Margarito probably slept on Mosley since he fought like crap vs Mayorga. Just doesn't work man.Comment

I wasn't using that as an excuse for Alexander.
I was referring to your specific appraisal of Kotelnik's "caliber". Get me? I wasn't offering it as a reason for why Alexander didn't look so great last night in the least. Slow down, comprehend, relax.
It's a somewhat comparable case is all I said, which it is - and you jumped on that with a fit of pique/indignation that anyone would have the temerity to suggest Tony looked less than stellar against Clottey. That = sensitivity, which is why I called you sensitive.
You know that some people think Clottey won that fight, too, right? Not everyone is in perfect agreement with you. I'm not saying I'm one of those people, BTW...I'm just sayin'.
Real easy now.Comment

Well you made it seem that way. At least to me.I wasn't using that as an excuse for Alexander.

Nothing sensitive about me. If I was sensitive I wouldn't of made a thread about it. Knowing it will get responses. lolIt's a somewhat comparable case is all I said, which it is - and you jumped on that with a fit of pique/indignation that anyone would have the temerity to suggest Tony looked less than stellar against Clottey.
