Chad Dawson is the Best Fighter in Boxing

After watching Cloud and Alexander be exposed as hype jobs, I think it's cemented Dawson's position as the best in boxing. That is if things go how I expect them to next week. If he grabs another victory in dominating fashion, he needs to be ranked as p4p#3.

He's the best pure boxer, slick, great puncher, a ton of heart, and a semi-good chin.He'll be p4p#1 soon.

Everyone goes life and death with Johnson but Dawson would've handled this version by a pretty comfortable margin. Pascal may prove to be a tougher test.

Cloud is 2 years older than Dawson was when Chad originally fought Johnson, furthermore Johnson was younger and more solid. This was an older, flabbier version of Johnson, with hardly any power behind his punches. Match Dawson with the Johnson we saw tonight, and I seriously doubt Johnson makes it outside the 6th.

As far as Alexander getting exposed tonight, I don't agree with that. Alexander has shown that he has defensive holes in his previous fights, but people became enamored with him after the way he won the Witter and Urango fights, particularly the Urango fight, and overlooked them.

Dawson is a far more skilled Southpaw than Alexander. Better defense and head movement, much better puncher, understand angles better, etc. Hell, at 23-24 Chad was outclassing the likes of Eric Harding and Tomasz Adamek.

In the second fight, you used the excuse that Dawson waited for Johnson to get old and thats why he dominated Glen in the rematch. Now we have an even OLDER Johnson who arguably could have won the fight against Cloud. The guy that you can't seem to stop hyping up. You say right now that Cloud got a gift but 2 days from now, you'll come back with "Dawson is ducking Cloud".

I agree, absolutely. I wasn't trying to compare them, sorry if my post came across that way.

IMHO, the only way Dawson will lose the fight is if he gets dragged into a grueling fight, Pascal has shown that he's a bit more durable than Dawson thus far, IMO.
