alexander won clearly a close fight. maybe if kotelnik was a better fight he would've won the fight. its on to the next one. that said bradley will beat alexander.if he gets tired in front of bradley like he did tonight then alexander gets knocked out.

        Don King, Druggedd Fighter Anyone?

If you have watched Devon for any amount of time then you know what you saw tonight was not Devon at all. He appeared lucid in behavior, especially after the fight. He appeared to fighting off or shaking off something within his system. In my opinion he appeared as if there was something chemically off, he may have been drugged. Kotelnik has been a champion & Olympic medalist, but he has never been world class, just a hard working basic fighter. Tonight, he looked as if he could have whupped Khan in a rematch. He looked like a world beater, against a very gifted fighter. Now what could be the motivation? Who knows, Devon was a 9 - 2 favorite in the fight, the fact that nobody wanted to get it on with Devon after Whitter & Urango, but where I begin to suggest it is the fact that I do NOT TRUST DON KING! The guy is dirty & unfortunately for many an up & coming fighter, he is still ready & willing to bring you in, as long as you make him money. Watch the replay, Devon was slipped something that he had to fight through. I wish we could actually get clean & accurate toxicology reports, but again, Don King is the promoter, nuff said...

but people seem to forget that Khan was ktfo not too long ago and bounced back. fighters have bad performances and can learn from them. this could easily be the case for Alexander, who doesnt have many fights and is young.

and Kotelnik also received a gift against Maidana(from what Ive read). Thats how a hometown decision works: nowhere is special. not that that justifies a robbery tonight or anything, but dont act like its a personal Vendetta against Kotelnik.

people get too hung up on the negative aspects instead of enjoying the fight.
dude watch the fights and then talk

Explain to us how you score fights.

I think when people say it was robbery, it's because of how wide a margin the judges scored the fight. I personally wouldn't say Kotelnik got robbed if it was a split decision or even a draw, but I would say I think he won the fight.

Every time a close fight happens,it is a robbery here on NSB. I think people expected a few things that ended up playing in Kotelnik's favour...he was a massive underdog that made a hard competitive fight,so a lot of people will over-emphasize that he should have won.
Everytime an underdog holds their own and gets shots in,people want to give them the round....

I personally thought he did good, and Alexander looked ordinary than usual tonight... no big deal, the kid is still very young and has a bit to learn (defense). If anything, this is a close fight-not a robbery....

                  What a very good point.

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I thought Devon would be the best chance of a title at 140 for Zab, because of his style.

Only problem with that is YOU don't need an iron Jaw to win against Bradley or Devon, they both have been exposed.

i gave 3 rounds to alexander. 1,3 and 5 from then on it was all kotelnik IMHO. He was landing the more effective and harder punches and with more accuracy than Devon's. Devon was busy punching, but it rarely landed clean. Most of his punches was blocked by Kotelnik if not, was hitting air.
