You had to figure that Kotelnik was never going to get the decision in St Louis. And what a load a crap it was that so little attention was paid to Kolelnik either before or after the fight. As far as the fight itself I thought it was close after the fourth round. And I have a very hard time believing that Kotelnik won only four rounds in the fight I watched. He came forward the whole fight and was more effective while doing it. I also believe that he even hit harder than Alexander. In my opinion Alexander no doubt had the faster hands but Kotelnik was the better fighter of the two. And Harold Letterman is a whack job and to think I use to respect his scoring.Comment

I ****ing knew Kotelnik needed a KO in St. Louis to beat the hometown boy but I didn't think they were that biased, I though ok, maybe it will be a SD, but not a UD, **** that ****. What round did Alexander win? I gave him the second, fifth, sixth, and maybe seventh rounds, but no way does Alexander get more than 4 rounds. What is th*s **** , Olympic scoring or pro boxing? It's not who throws more, it's one who lands more and harder shots. Bullspit decision, shameful really. Just look at the corners of both men and what each one said, Alexander's corner was pleading with his man to stay away from Kotelnik and "box", Kotelnik's man was damn cofident the entire fight and he was a black dude. **** that ****.Comment

This fight wasn't a robbery by any means, but Alexander's stock definitely went down.
I hate to say it but Khan had far less trouble with Kotelnik than Devon did.Comment

people are really tough on fighters. I didnt see the fight tonight, so I have no idea what I would have scored it.
but people seem to forget that Khan was ktfo not too long ago and bounced back. fighters have bad performances and can learn from them. this could easily be the case for Alexander, who doesnt have many fights and is young.
and Kotelnik also received a gift against Maidana(from what Ive read). Thats how a hometown decision works: nowhere is special. not that that justifies a robbery tonight or anything, but dont act like its a personal Vendetta against Kotelnik.
people get too hung up on the negative aspects instead of enjoying the fight.Comment
