these r two big ass ego's who dont like to bend to what anyone says if these two were not that big stars this fight would have happened in flash without all this soap opera series...i knew these two ego's r way two big for them to make a fight like this cuz if u really think about it this fight is just as just as Ali v Frazier haggler v Leonard etc etc the money maybe more but thats it its just another fight.. well i truly believe floyd fights when he wants to and he is not gona fight anytime soon and by then PAC will b retired and thats it no more drama only new young fighters coming up in boxing ..

Maybe I'm being too logical here but, why is 14 days no longer acceptable all of a sudden? If I remember correctly, Manny didn't want to do unprecedented testing, then during negotiations he said 1 the day of the press conference, 1 30 days before the fight, then 1 on fight night in the locker room (after the fight). Then he agreed to random testing up to 24 days and unlimited random urine samples, Mayweather wanted 14. Then Pacquiao agreed to 14 days and what was once perfectly reasonable and would supposedly make the fight happen became ridiculous. So what changed? What happened in the field of anti-doping in the months between Jan and May of 2010 that now makes what Mayweather and all his fans deemed perfectly viable a few months earlier now unacceptable.

And it doesn't help that testing for Mayweather-Mosley stopped 18-19 days before the fight AND the Nevada hearing about testing protocol (The USADA was invited to make a case) deemed blood testing unreliable/unnecesary and potentially harmful.

So basically... what's wrong with a 14 day window, with unlimited urine testing, and a blood/urine test on the night of the fight?

The fact that Mosley and Mayweather had RANDOM testing. That's what.

We shouldnt care about this fight anymore. Two enormous egos, with lawsuits, drug testing, and such. I miss the old days when the best fought the best. I miss 80's boxing, lol.

In my opinion both are doing the same thing. Floyd is the one doing it lately but, some of us still remember Pac didn't accept the 14day window. I know he had a change of heart or whatever. Floyd could have just said he didnt want to fight this year without all the other bs. BOTH ducked and BOTH talk **** after the fact with excuses. Manny Mayweather vs Floyd Pacquiao looking more like one in the same.

I agree that both ducked in their own sense, but Floyd nearly drowned himself in the process while Manny's still floating on water. And here's why:

- Floyd called out Pac after the Cotto fight.
- 1st negotiation broke down after dictated blood testing fell through, something Marquez didn't have to do.
- Pac called out Floyd after the Clottey fight, more open to blood testing.
- Floyd avoided Pacquiao discussions like the plague after failing to knock out the much smaller Marquez. Even a Mayweather fan dying of cancer had to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.
- 2nd "'negotiation" fell out because Floyd continued to stay quiet and went on vacation.
- Pac called out Floyd after the Don King lobster dinner.

They both had a change of heart, however, Pac was the only one open to the fight through the entire time since proving himself at ww.
