For the people who know a little more than me; do you know how often Chavez fights? if he has a fight in september, can he also be adequately prepared for cotto in two months? Or would cotto fight somebody else in november, and chavez-cotto hook up in june?

he should be fine,as long as he isn't cut or badly hurt in a win,it's fine...if you're cut that cut can open during training,but i think it's good for him to fight in sept,take a month off then go back to training again....as for cotto,this is good time off for him,after that humiliating beating he took from pacquiao,i understand him taking two easy fights in a row(the handicapped non-puncher and chavez jr the so called bum)

once again,i don't think he's done,he just cant' beat certain fighters....guys with power who aren't afraid to take a punch to land their own,,,cotto runs when he fights guys like that,he's not shot,it's just that those guys are just better,can take a better punch than him

This fight is a waste of time. Chavez will be beaten up. And I think Cotto is a lot smaller than Chavez who is really a Midleweight. Why can't he just ****ing fight Berto? It makes no sense. Even Bradley at 147 is a better fight than this.
