Mike Tyson has always been my boxing idol since as far as I can remember, when I was as young as 6 playing punch out on the NES.

I watched the Heavy's at times, but I was always a lower weight fight fan myself.

Back in the "old school days", I wasn't around, but my dad had footage of a lot of fights (like the early 80's and such)! Bob Foster had to be one of my favorites! To bad he couldn't hang at heavy weight. Also Liston (also live in Denver for a time...3 blocks down the street from my Grandma).

I saw film of Pep, and all of those guys, Robinson etc...My favorite fighter from the old days was Sandy Sadler...Dude was ruff! He and Pep had wars! Or should I say they fought a lot.

Sometimes I hate trying to look back into my mind, cause I have forgot tons of **** over the years. Don't do drugs kids!!!! Been watching the sport since I was 6 years old, I'm 30 now.

Back in the day everyone wanted to be like Mike, so mine was Tyson.

I'm gonna be real with you, I wasn't expecting anyone to say that...

On A Side Note: I really thought Mcgee (think that was his name) was going to beat Hatton. When he scored that knock down with the counter right hand, I knew he had it in the bag...Hatton got up and took it to another level. Folks fail to realize, Hatton was calling for Zab loud and clear back then.

Also, being from across the pound (and young), I didn't understand Hatton and Mcgee hating each other so much over their Football teams...I know now.

Eamon Magee or Mcgee, he really made Hatton the fighter he was. Hatton got a beating, but i dont think they hate each other now
