Greats are rare, I'm not expecting him to fight someone 'great', great is what these guys are all trying to become. Point is, Bradley has a significantly stronger ledger and is far more proven than Khan. Period. That's been broken down before and it isn't really arguable at all.

As for Alexander. He's fought 2 more dangerous opponents than any Khan has faced at 140. And he's got the chance to polish off Kotelnik in better style than Khan did tonight.

Sure, Khan can look good when the situation/matchup is favorable. But he's faced no danger.

When I say great, I don't mean literally great, it was the wrong word to use really. I agree that Bradley has the better resume, and that's why I think he is the number 1 at 140 right now. Alexander doesn't have a very impressive resume, IMO, Witter has always been a bit ****, and he looked past it in the Alexander fight to me, and Urango was outboxed handily by Ricky Hatton (Although his power made him a threat, of course). It was the way in which he won those fights that got him where he is, but those two guys aren't what i'd call a great resume, i'd say Khan's resume is on par with it. It will be interesting to see how Alexander deals with Kotelnik though.

Khan management was responsible 4 that happening 2 him. Prescott wasnt the original opponent 4 khan when they fought. The original opponent pulled out so they took prescott who was a more dangerous opponent physically 4 khan. I dont think they even watched tape of prescott.

I agree that Alexander's isn't all that yet, but it represents more danger than Khan's. There's no safety in his title fights so far.

Urango improved after Hatton, you can see that clearly. If you watch his post-Hatton progression. I'm not saying he's great or even 'good' in a purist sense, but he represents clear and present danger to contenders and champs at the weight.

Only if one only looks at Khan's wins. One should also examine his horrid loss, being buzzed/rocked/dropped by average and less punchers, and a management approach which screams "NO Punchers for as long as possible." Alexander is being matched with top ten guys period; Khan is being navigated to the right ones.

Khan has a lot to do to prove he belongs with either Alexander or Bradley. They are all proving where they belong with the world's elite.
