It's not as if he has fought 5 super featherweights since he won the belt. A money fight with Marquez isn't going to hurt anybody.
Let's face it. None of those are big punchers. If he actually won against the top fighters at 140, I'll give him credit.

Right now, he is the best 140lb fighter....................

Co-sign, I think it's clear in Prescotts performances since the Khan fight that the win over Khan was a fluke and if they fought again Khan would stop him in 3 rounds.

I don't think Khan can do his best work against guys his own size or bigger, even with the improvements he's made.

Prescott's physical attributes and strong punching will always give him an edge over Khan. Still a really dangerous fight for him.

Why do you think they haven't looked to avenge the 'lost'? There would be much interest and hype in that on the UK market.

Prescott just needs a new trainer, he has the speed and power. His cardio and tech looks suspect at times though. Those things can be fixed by a good trainer.

A few months ago, after Khan-Malignaggi, you said that Khan wouldn't fight Marquez when I predicted this fight.

You said I was wrong and that he'd face Maidana. You said you'd be majorly disappointed if he fought Marquez.

Now it's almost certain he fights Marquez, pending Marquez and Beristain's approval. And you're defending it? And, worse, saying Marquez, the great, accomplished champion, Marquez, who has done more than Khan will ever do, who has proved it times over, the one who has earned the luxury of taking 'money fights', deserves to be beat up for 'ducking' Katsidis (ducking Mike when he's prepared to step in a ring with Pacquiao and Mayweather, LMAO)? When Khan's clearly ducking anything resembling a threat in his division?

                  tim,

                  you're a JOKE.

****, I'd lay off Khan if he fought a Urango or a Mabuza even. It doesn't have to be Bradley or Alexander or Maidana.

Fuckin' Urango or Mabuza. Either of those guys, because, even with their limitations, they represent a level of pressure and threat entirely lacking from his competition so far.

There are no more defences to be made of Khan, people. He's had Kotelnik, Salita, Paul, all fair enough. Now it's time to start stepping up the fear factor a bit and getting in there with a few guys who meet these simple, fair requirements,

                    1. can crack an egg

                    2. aren't too small

                    3. aren't too old

                    .

Prescott really is rather ****e, isn't he?

I remember after the Khan fight, everyone thought he was going to be big. He looked pretty quick, accurate, and deadly powerful, but turns out he's a slow ass bastard, who throws looping hooks that don't put a dent in most people (Apart from those made of china). That said, I think Khan should rematch him, just to put the record straight...

And if he lost again, then lol.
