        Roach once said that when Pacman was still in the jr Lightweight,
        He punches like a Middleweight Boxer.

        Pacman's been sparring with taller and heavier boxers,

        So came fight time he is rarin to Rumble!

        Let's give credit where it is due:

        Pacman's got TALENT; A God fearing Boxer; Humble in his ways;

        His Trainer Roach got the BRAIN,
        He's a multi awardee accorded by BWAA;

        and,

        Arum, you can say whatever you wanna say about him,
        But he is among the best and probably the oldest Boxing promoter around.

        If you combined these three, then you have what we call:

        SUCCESS!

            I fail to see what that has to do with anything. Mayweather's also a christian.

That is why it was so easy for him to move up in weight, all he had to do was not dehydrate himself before the fight. Moving around between different weight classes was much more difficult when fighters had to weigh in on the day of the fight.
                thread owned. while floyd was challeneging himself and fighting guys bigger than him. pac was draining himself to fight smaller guys

                  how exactly was he draining himself to fight smaller guys when even at the smaller weights he'd never outweighed anyone by more than 5lbs even on fight night.

                    nosir,

                    thread not owned. that would be your whole existence on this site & probably off site.

                    im talking about what he has done since he has left 130. ever since he has left 130, he has not been able to use 24 rehydration to his advantage. he cant even make 140 ffs during the hatton fight.

                    this thread was in regards to the criticism of the catchweight used in the cotto & margarito fights. how much should we really take away from the victory when he's still weighing in at welter while clottey, cotto, & margarito are 154 & 160 pounders.

                    if he was such a welterweight, how come in 3 welterweight fights he's had, he cant even make 147?

                    with 24 hr rehydration, your typical welterweight would weigh in at 147 on friday, then on fight night be one or two divisions above welter.

                    that is a real welterweight in todays 24 rehydration era.
