B-Hop would get countered though. I think he'd stay at a safe distance and avoid getting in Roy's range. Once Roy would throw the punches, he'd come in and counter.
Roy Jones Jr. How good was he?

roy doesnt put pressure on fighters after the first round( he liked to test the chin of his opponents). he also thru punches from angles that were unheard of so it would be very difficult to counter his awkward style especially cause he was one of the fastest fighters ever.Originally posted by SevenB-Hop would get countered though. he beats bernard every time imo, just too slick and fast for x.... boring UD for jones like the first fightComment

Only way for BHop to win this fight would be to pressure Roy. if he stood back and waited on Roy he would lose every round and Roy would end up with a UD. Roy would win rounds with the cleaner punches.Comment

From reading what you guys have told me I also think it is impossible for B-Hop to beat Roy Jones. If he stay'd back and waited it wouldn't do either of them any good. If he tried to pressure Roy he'd get countered. Hmm, maybe I'm glad B-Hop lost to Jermain so he can win his rematch, beat Jermain, and call it a career.Comment
