        I wish I could've watched one of his fights and I personally hope him and Bernard work out a rematch so I can watch that one. Overall, he was a great boxer.

          The thing I will say about Jones is this, you cannot really fault him for his last two KO losses and here is why;

          There are only two possablities when it comes to the cause for those knockouts. Number one is that Roy Jones just got old all at once and therefore did not have the stamina, chin, or quickness to compete with Johnson or Tarver and that is why he got KO'ed. If that is the case then you can't really say that taints what he has done because it is not a fighter's fault when he starts looking old. Number two is that he always had a crappy chin and against all of the other fighters he faced he simply had enough skills to mask it from ever even being close to apparent. If that is the case then you almost have to marvel at Jones' seemingly boundless amount of skill to survive all that time without ever even being seriously hurt. Either way it is not a crushing blow on his legacy. That being said, I am not an advocate of a Roy Jones return to the ring at this stage. He is too good behind the booth and does not have anything he needs to gain from it-- aside from maybe scratching that itch that most retired fighters seem to get. Roy should take the Lennox Lewis route and not the Sugar Ray route, stay out of the ring and enjoy what your life now is.

            The Roy today is no the same as the Roy in his prime. If you want to see a tip top Roy dig up some of his older fights.

              So you think Bernard would beat him if they had their rematch?

                Roy is faster, stronger and alot more slick then Taylor. His ring smarts are on the same level as Hopkins. Bernard would chase Roy around the ring and just get countered left and right. His chin is bad but I still believe he beats BHop by UD.

                Just like the 1st time they met.

                  Bernard didn't really chase Taylor around in their fight so why would he chase a faster, stronger Roy Jones around in their rematch just to get countered? I think he would lay back awhile and let Roy Jones come to him.

                    You see Roy is not the pressuring type. Bernard would be forced to put pressure on Roy because if you let Roy pick his shots and stay at the range he wants Roy would eat him up. BHop will need to try and get inside.
