These have to be the most ****** up p4p lists I've seen.

1. The Executioner- He's still number one. Most, not most but basically ALL knowledgeable boxing critics, experts, writers, fans etc. think Hopkins deserved that decision. Because some blind judges robbed Hopkins from his victory doesn't mean he's shot, over and done with. (and I'm not a big fan of him)
2. Pretty BoyDon'tlike his attitude, but I appreciate his talent. He hasn't faced top competition for awhile but I can't lie to myself or make excuses to lower his position, he's the ****.
3. El TerribleThis is my favorite fighter right now. I wasn't too sure he'd beat Pacquiao but he did. This victory, the first time he was the underdog means a lot more than Barreras win over him in November. Barrera beat him by one point, and I believe he wasn't up for the Barrera fight, he's always fighting him, and I think Manny's destruction of Barrera played a role in Erik not takin him seriously.
4. Winky He beat Mosley twice and Trinidad.
5. MAB He was destroyed by Pacquiao, but came back to be the first man to stop Paulie Ayala and he won the rubber-match with Morales and he won the fight of the year for 2004
6. Chico He's beaten Casamayor, Freitas and Castillo and was engaged in the fight of the decade. His winning tactics may have been shady but none the less, it was his punch that halted the fight.
7. JLC Wins over Juan Lazcano, Casaymor and Julio Diaz back to back mean a lot. Adding to that, he was so close to winning the fight of the decade.
8. Pac-Man He's 1-1-1 against the three best Mexican fighters of this generation.
9. The Magic Man Close loss to Jones, KO victory of Jones, close loss to Johnson, good win over Johnson, rumor has it he'll fight Jones a 3rd time this October 1st.
10. Dinamita Near flawless counter puncher, needs to fight better oppossition.Comment

If Barrera weren't dominated and KOed by Pacquiao not so long ago, I could see giving him a 5 spot...but he was so I think 5 is too high. And come one, don't try and pass off Paulie Ayala in the state he was in as a good victory. He was over the hill and nowhere near the same fighter he used to be.
Not having Rafael Marquez in that list and instead having Juan Manuel is beyond me. JMM hasn't fought anyone with a pulse before or since Pacquiao and consistantly ends up in pretty low level fights. Mandatories galore. Rafael has KO wins over an all-time great in Too Sharp and another great fighter in Tim Austin. Rafael is one of the p4p best punchers in the sport today and hasn't lost in along time. He makes for good fights since it's kind of kill or be killed with him. I think Raf should be 5-7 range.
I don't think Tarver should crack the top ten either. He wins, he loses, he wins, he loses, he wins, he loses....very inconsistent. Until he strings together a few good victories over solid comp, he shouldn't be up there.Comment

Someone please explain to me why Winky Wright is rated as high as #2 on peoples list. The guy is so ****ing overrated its not even funny. He's been called underrated so long now he's become shamelessly overrated.
Two biggest wins Shane Mosley and Tito, but lets really take a look at these wins.
Neither guy was rated in the top 10 p4p when those fights happend.
Shane Mosley: In his last 4 fights before he fought Winky he was 1-1-2NC
Lost twice to Vernon Forrest
NC with Raul Marquez
Had a highly contraversiol win over DLH(I had DLH winning 116-112).
So in my book Shane was 0-4 going into that fight. Tell me again why that win was so impressive.
Felix Trinidad: Had 1 fight in the last 3 years and that was against a tough, but highly unskilled Ricardo Mayorga. Oh wow Felix cant deal with a jab and angles SHOCKING. In this guy's two biggest fights leading up to this he had won a comibined 4 out of 23 rounds being outboxed badly both times.
Ther blue print was already layed out for Tito someone tell me why this win was so great?
The only reason people think so highly of those wins is because there big names and there going on what they did in the past. If they went on what they did right beforethere fights with Winky those wins wouldn't mean anhthing cause fact is both Mosley and Tito were nowhere near the fighters they were in there primes by the time they fought Winky.Comment

Winky is a damn good boxer and that was proven when he shut Mosley/Trinidad down completely. Some people think Mosley might not be out of his prime since Winky completely shut Trinidad down so that gives people more gas to throw on the fire for Winky. I think he has tremendous skills and is as good as he says he is but his accomplishments note otherwise.
He is certainly ranked in my top 10 but he could easily be replaced as well.
Also that Harry Simon loss will always haunt Winky in my view.Comment

Dont get me wrong Winky is a good fighter and in my top 10, but no way does he desever that #2 spot.
Who think Shane isn't out of his prime? Hell Shane's prime came at 135 10 years ago.
Both Mosley and Tito have been "shut down" before in there careers he was just the latest in a line to do so.Comment

I dont think he deserves the number 2 spot either, I am not defending that at all. I think he deserves a spot but like I said there are fighters who could easily replace him.Comment

Winkys number two cause if you take out all those overrated Mexicans, the list drops dramaticly. Way it should be, Morales is the only one deserving of being on one list.Comment
