St Louis just seems like a great fight town. They supported Cory Spinks whole heartedly, and then they packed the house for Latimore too.

Can we expect that kinda support for Devon Alexander?
    It is!

Don't forget this is the home of Mike and Larry Spinks. And amatuer boxing has ALWAYS been big here.

seems like he does well and people come out and support him

he is not fighting in Casinos or what ever, not saying it is anything wrong with fighting in Casinos but I would think if he didn't have the support he wouldn't be fighting at the Scottrade Center

Good to hear that. He has 2 belts and he deserves more buzz and bigger paydays.

Looks like Alexander might end up being one of the biggest draws in American Boxing. He could easily turn out to be #1 when it comes to gate attraction since there ain't that many.

Like I said, near sells outs. This "Theres no money in Alexander" **** is just an excuse.

that's great that Alexander's already getting support from his hometown this early in his career...

I know people here that aren't even boxing fans that showing up just to show that we support our people and because it's on HBO, we got 314 636 people on the card and we love our people here. Just go back and peep out Cory Spinks ring walk Vs Judah we get bout it here for our guys, yeah he lost the fight but not from lack of support lol. This city just loves sports and greatness, local boxing is still a good draw as well, most of them include beer with the price of admission so you got people there for entertainment and to watch the matches and most I went to this year were good crowds. I expect this fight to be slammed to show support and they have tickets at 17.50 to make sure anyone that wants to be involved can get in on it at a reasonable price, so i expect this to do well.
