So if Kotelnik insisted on it for his fight against Alexander, you would be equally supportive? If that happened Kotelnik would be sitting home Saturday and someone else would be fighting for the title. So the only ones who get these supposed "safety measures" are the top 1% PPV attractions. Yeah, like that's really looking out for the safety of boxing.

I'm not against this random drug testing but for god's sake do it properly like the Olympic athletes doing 24/7/365 to effectively catch those real cheaters. Floyd invented 2 months OST was his designed to duck knowing Pac will not agree on it in the first place and it is f^cking useless other than to his advantages.

How is that to his advantage?

If a boxer gets in the ring against someone with an unfair advantage, absorb unnecessary damage, does that affect the authority in any way? They might be criticized for not preventing it in the first place. Other than that, not much else.

Meanwhile, the boxer might be suffering life threatening injuries. Who has it worse?

So, if a boxer can create a level playing field (if the authority chooses not to) then there's no reason for him to get out of their jurisdiction.

              I love these threads.

Can't wait to see Floyd's next fight with full OST.

Can't wait to see these *****s trying to explain an 18 day cut off. LOL.

Keep 'em coming guys. It'll be fun bumping these threads when Floyd gets back from his vacation.

Yes, I would be equally supportive, even if it meant he would be sitting at home and someone else would be fighting for the title.

Only 1% of the PPV attractions have gotten these safety measures because that 1% have implemented the measures themselves. The commission won't do it. You have to do it yourself. See the difference?

And I mentioned the safety of the boxer, not the safety of boxing. There's a difference. Again, if the commission won't provide these safety measures to boxing as a whole, then you have to do it yourself. It is not the responsibility of one boxer to ensure the safety of other boxers (that's the commission's responsibility). Since the commission won't do it, the other boxers have to do it themselves.

The OST focus is on Floyd now. I don't think he could weasel his way out of a no cut-off next time. It would look fake.

Haha... thanks to his ***** soldiers.

Agree 100% + If/when implemented it definitely should be randomly throughout the year- scheduled to fight or not.

Floyd and his fans look like idiots, first Floyd saying "Pac is ducking me, he wont accept 14 days blah, blah.." back in 1st fight negotiations. Floyd/Mosley random testing stopped at 18 days, it shows you Floyd didn't know what the hell he was spouting off. Now it random this, random that.

Cmon Floyd just get in the ring with Manny and prove youre the greatest till then him and his fans need to STFU.
