you're missing the point US *******s want.

it is not that we are against random drug testing, but rather against who wants it to get done.

as much as we want to repeat this ****** thread, all we want is that the boxing commissions out there regulate all fights with such testing. BOXING COMMISSIONS TELL WHAT FIGHTERS HAVE TO GO THROUGH BEFORE EACH FIGHTS.

Good question. Problem is, those who are against it because of Pacquiao (overwhelming majority) won't admit it to save face.

there is nothing wrong with better testing procedures and i don't think there's really somebody here who is against it. and since it's good for boxing it should be implemented by the authority to include all fighters and not to be used as a surprise bargaining chip in a negotiation between 2 fighters.

Boxing commission isn't the one fighting inside the ring, and if they won't ensure the safety of the boxer, then the boxer has to take it upon himself to implement safety measures.

who says the authority is fair to all concerned? authority is authority...either you follow their rules or get out of their jurisdiction.

I'm a fan of Pacquiao and I have never been against OST. The problem I have is that unless it's done year round, and involves at the minimum the top 10 fighters in each division, its a waste of time. With that said, I never liked singling out fighters or that b.s. version of testing Mayweather was just using as a front.
