Middleweight has become a hotbed of talent now with Martinez, Williams, Pirog in the mix.. along with the already talented stal*****.

I love Martinez, but I think Williams can rule the division if he stuck at 160 and didn't bounce around.

Money and press wise, it makes sense that he can challenge anyone from 147-168.

I wonder if Golden Boy did their homework right when they made this fight, do you think it was a gamble to see if Jacobs was the real deal? I mean I like the kid but he was not a world beater, plus he was untested. Maybe GB thought they had done enough for Jacobs aleady and their investment wasn't paying back so they fed him to a hungry lion like Pirog? From the moment this fight was announced everyone knew including me that Jacobs was in for a rude awakening and it proved to be true.
